Blue families are often first time animal owners. They have limited time or ability to train and exercise their animal, and want a low maintenance relationship. They may or may not have young children.

Animals for GREEN families

Green families are happy to live with animals that like a bit of action, but also like to relax and chill out with their animal. They are amenable to putting in some training and extra time in the early partnership to establish the household rules. They enjoy getting out each day taking their animals for walks.

Animals for ORANGE families

Orange families have a passion for animals - they could be animal trainers or are animal training enthusiasts with a library of animal books they read. They have enough time to enjoy daily walks, games and training with their animals. They put their animals to work via mental stimulation when left home alone for long periods.

A little about me:

Meow ..... I'm Ella the kitty cat.

I'm a sweet smoochy girl who loves people and wants to be the centre of your attention!

I am kitty litter trained.

I absolutely love people and other animals.

I'm a fairly small sized cat. Although I am 1 year old I look like I am only about 6 months old.

I love to drink out of the tap. My foster cat sister Elli taught me this fantastic trick!!

I like to play with balloons and throw them back to you.


What sort of home would suit me:

The perfect home for me would be a home where someone is home most of the day and will give me lots of love and attention.

A home with other animals would be good because it will give me someone to play with whilst you're away for the day.

A home with older children as I can be very playful at times.


Fencing type I need:

As I am a cat, fencing is not too important however I do need to be inside at night time.


My time requirements:

As much as you can give me.


How I feel about kids:

I don't do too well with younger children (ie babies and toddlers) as I tend to be very playful.


Amount of exercise I need:

I would just like to play with you.


My grooming needs:

I need regularly brushing as I have a long coat.


My thoughts on other animals:

I have 3 other cats in my foster home so I am great with cats.

Although I didn't like dogs when I went to my foster home I do like them now.

I wasn't too great with my foster mum's birds but now I ignore them.

Stories from the Foster Carer:

Ella just loves watching TV with me and sitting on my lap when I am on the computer. Ella loves to follow the mouse around and tries to catch the cursor on the screen. It's very cute to watch.

Ella will play alot with cat toys.

Ella is a quite small for a cat. You wouldn't think that she is over a year old merely due to her size. She is a petite little bundle.

My daughter and Ella play balloons. My daughter throws the balloon to Ella and she will paw it back to my daughter. It's the cutest thing to watch!


Some likes:

Ella loves playing with toys.

Ella adores lots and lots of attention - in fact she has to be the centre of it!


Commands learnt:

Ella understands the word "no" and "get off"
