My status: Adopted
My TAG ID What does this mean?:

My TAG ID is an unique number allocated to each animal. Please use this number for reference when contacting Albury RSPCA.

My TAG colour What does this mean?:

A TAG colour indicates.

Animals for BLUE families

Blue families are often first time animal owners. They have limited time or ability to train and exercise their animal, and want a low maintenance relationship. They may or may not have young children.

Animals for GREEN families

Green families are happy to live with animals that like a bit of action, but also like to relax and chill out with their animal. They are amenable to putting in some training and extra time in the early partnership to establish the household rules. They enjoy getting out each day taking their animals for walks.

Animals for ORANGE families

Orange families have a passion for animals - they could be animal trainers or are animal training enthusiasts with a library of animal books they read. They have enough time to enjoy daily walks, games and training with their animals. They put their animals to work via mental stimulation when left home alone for long periods.

My video:
A little about me:

I am very friendly and loyal, will give anyone a cuddle, love attention and very affectionate.

I get on well with all other dogs especially my foster carers dog 'Brian' who I play with alot and go for walks with.

Tug toys, balls, chewy toys are my favourite.

I absolutely love playing with water from the hose and I love getting wet, although I am reluctant to swim in the river.

I would love to go live with a family or even a single person.

I love everyone and I am really friendly with children.

My foster family have cats, I don't bother them.

What sort of home would suit me:

Someone to love me, take me for walks and give me lots of cuddles as I really love that.

Fencing type I need:

Just enough to keep me in, as I don't jump.

Secure fencing with no gaps and/or holes.

My time requirements:

I love attention, but I don't bark if my people go out and I am quite happy entertaining myself in the back yard.

Need a walk every day,and then I will just sit and rest am not that energetic.  Love to play fetch and tug a war.

How I feel about kids:

I love children and am really gentle with them.

Amount of exercise I need:

A walk nearly every day, but I won't complain if you are too busy.

My grooming needs:

Just a brush and a bath every now and again.

My thoughts on other animals:

My foster carer has a dog and I get on well with him.  Have never growled or been aggressive to another dog.

I am curious about cats but they just run away.

My other requirements:
Stories from the Foster Carer:

Buddy is a really friendly, gentle dog who just loves everyone.  Loves getting wet from the hose but hates a bath or going in the river too deep.  Walks on a lead well, travels in the car well.  Doesn't jump.  Will wait for food.  Sits, comes and gets on very well with other dogs.ie. dogs on dean, the show, paws in the park.  We would love to see him go to a family or person who would give him lots of love.

Some likes:

Love walks, playing, cuddles, chewing bones, treats, everyone.

Commands learnt:

I know sit, stay and wait and come.  I will fetch a ball and bring it back sometimes.
